Giving Instructions
In order to reduce costs and unify our various church systems, The River will be migrating from our old system, Vanco, to Planning Center Giving. If you have an account with Vanco follow the steps below in order to ensure your giving is going to the right place! If you have never given online but want to set up online giving with Planning Center, skip to Step 3. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to email us at church@theriverrf.org.
Step 1: Log In To Vanco (Old Giving Platform)
Step 2: Cancel Recurring Vanco Donations
Once logged in, click the "Profile" button in the upper right corner.
Once you have brought up your recurring donations, hit the "Cancel" button. This should allow you to delete this recurring donation. Note: Do NOT cancel until your last December donation is processed!
Step 3: Make a Giving Account with Planning Center
The page you are brought to should look like the one below. Fill out the form and follow the steps are you are all set! Note: Bank accounts (which are highly preferable due to their lower fees) do require a verification process with micro-deposits, but they walk you through that.
Pro Tip: If you first click "Log in" in the top right corner and use either your Planning Center email or phone number, it will sync everything up with your Planning Center account!
Lastly, this will also be where you can track your personal donation history in the future.
